What Is Super White Quartzite?
Super White Quartzite is prominent for its balance between grey and warm tones. Quartzite products are recognized for their durability and can be used for a variety of residential and commercial applications.
Super White Quartzite is characterized by a predominantly white or gray background with bold veining in shades of gray, black, and occasional hints of blue or green, reminiscent of marble. Primarily sourced from Brazil, it contains minerals like dolomite, calcite, and quartz, giving it a unique composition.
Dimensions
As each stone is unique, sizes will vary upon availability. Average slab size is 80” x 40” – 120” x 70”. Tiles or special sizes may be available upon request.
Thickness
Standard stock thickness is ¾”, and other thick slabs can be customized to cut from block.
Finish
Standard finishes are polished & honed, specialty textured finishes such as leather, bamboo/fluted and others may be available in stock or upon request.
What is Super white quartzite used for?
Super White quartzite with a great density and hard composition offers good resistance to scratches and stains, as a dolomite is softer than quartzite but harder than marble. It is used widely for kitchen as countertop, island, backplash(splashbacks), outdoor fireplace wall, outdoor countertop, bathroom vanity top, flooring and wall living room, fireplace surrouds, wall TV panels, stairs steps and tread. This stunning white quartzite is ideal in a polished or honed finish surface and available in 20mm (3/4”) thick slabs.
